Democracy Plaza at Rockefeller Center

Signature Special Event Services is proud to have been part of a one-of-a-kind celebration of American democracy at Rockefeller Center Ice Rink in the heart of New York City. Democracy Plaza (October 20th – November 5th) featured museum quality, interactive displays of the great achievements in our democratic history and artifacts representing the individuals and eras that helped create it.

Signature Special Event Services provided a range of event rental equipment, including the fully climate-controlled tents for this national showcase. One of the twenty remaining copies of the Declaration of Independence was housed in one of Signature Special Event Services’ 6m x 6m tents.

The activities on Democracy Plaza will reached their peak on election night, when the networks and stations of NBC Universal broadcasted election coverage live from the plaza from booths and platforms overlooking the ice rink.
